Relationships can be tricky but one sign of a good relationship is when someone can make you feel good about yourself but doesn’t expect anything from you in return.

If someone is doing nice things for you or giving you things but expects you to do something sexual in return for them or other people, that’s not ok. This is called sexual exploitation, it’s a form of abuse and there are people who can help you. For help and support contact the police (telephone 999 in an emergency or 101 at all other times).

If someone is acting in this way towards a child this is called Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE). To find out more including how to find help and support visit the Torbay and Devon Safeguarding Board website.

PLEASE NOTE: This is an educational resource about Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) that should be delivered to young people in the context of a lesson, by professionals in the children's workforce. To access the free Exploited resource pack please visit the ThinkUKnow website.
